January Networking Luncheon
Speaker Bio and Topic Information
David Goosney, Chair of the board of directors will be in attendance to give a presentation
on the role of the PEGNL Board of directors in the regulation of Engineering and Geoscience in Newfoundland and Labrador.
The presentation will focus on the current state of the organization and plans for the future. There will also be an opportunity to
discuss and provide feedback to PEGNL. Janet Bradshaw, CEO of PEGNL will also be on hand to answer questions with David.
David Goosney, P. Eng. is an engineer currently living and working in St. John's, Newfoundland. David graduated from Memorial
University with a Bachelors of Engineering in 2007. He currently serves as the Chair of the Board of Directors of Professional
Engineers and Geoscientists of Newfoundland and Labrador (PEGNL) He also recently sat on board of directors of the
Newfoundland and Labrador Construction Safety Association (NLCSA). David also works as a system planning engineer with
Newfoundland and Labrador Hydro where he is responsible for power system reliability.
Reservations
Please note there is a new way to register for Connections East events. Reserve seats by logging into your Member Services on the PEGNL website
https://members.pegnl.ca/ (Same place where you record your PD hours and pay your annual fees). Under the events tab select the “January Luncheon” and pre-pay online
for the event and provide us with any dietary restrictions. If this is your first time using the new member portal please see the
instructions below.
To login to the PEGNL member portal system:
- Visit www.pegnl.ca
- Click Log-In at the top of the page
- If this is your first time logging in to the new system, you will be asked to reset your password. In this case click “Forgot
Password”. You will receive instructions via email. Follow the prompts to change your password.
- Input your username (your registration number) and your chosen password
You can still register non-members through your online account.
You can also reserve a seat by calling the PEGNL office (753-7714) and asking to be registered for the December Luncheon.
Please note limited space is available, so reserve early.
Deadline for reservations/cancellation is close of business, Thursday, January 23, 2019.
